The 458-bed Student dormitory is housed in two 4-story buildings over a subterranean garage with parking for 170 cars. Planning for the proposed facility responds to the geometry of existing adjacent dormitories with a new pavilion building and sunken plaza creating a hub for the 5-building, 1000 student residential area. In addition to student housing, the 110,000 SF dormitory and pavilion include faculty and staff apartments, offices, lounges, study areas, laundry facilities, a meeting room and a pizza parlor.
