Gersten Pavilion
Loyola Marymount University

Los Angeles CA

An upgrade of a 46,000 square foot, 1970’s athletic venue utilizing architectural graphic and fabric design. The challenge was to visually re-energize the center court and unify the pavilion interiors.
Tiered crimson valances provide a festive background and focal points of distinction for retired jersey honorees and championship banners at the ends of the center court. Bookends for the new color coordinated grandstands are murals of athletes in action. A solid blue band surrounds the pavilion to complete the cohesive “look”.
