Laurelwood is a 21-unit condominium project located on a long, narrow site with views of the San Fernando Valley. A unique plan, with a combination of 12 townhouses over subterranean parking and 9 stacked units built on-grade was developed to maximize the number of units with views. The planning and design concepts are rooted in the courtyard housing traditions of Southern California. A series of interconnected courtyards provide a pathway through the project and are animated with fountains, landscaping and a variety of materials and colors, which add richness to the experience and help express individual ownership. The 2 and 3-bedroom units feature many amenities including patios, decks, open floor plans, lofts and sloping ceilings. The project creates a unique sense of place and community that is compatible with the neighborhood and site, as well as provides individual living spaces and areas that will enhance the owners' lives.
