This small-scale residential remodel consists of an addition to the dining room and a complete redesign of the kitchen including a dramatic new roof that identifies the kitchen as the focal point of the family's lifestyle. The design attempts to bring in plentiful amounts of natural light without sacrificing privacy. During the design process, computer modeling was used for accurate three-dimensional visualization. Pieces of furniture and cabinetry were carefully customized to the client's needs.
