An AIA Honor Award residence designed for a Hollywood T.V. producer, located at the south end of Malibu Colony.
The exterior design reflects the ending of the Colony on the public beach. The front portion of the house is raised on pilings to allow for the ocean at high tide to pass under the structure. Multi-volume spaces enhance the special interconnection of rooms within the main structure, which is connected to the maid's & children's dorm area and garage at the rear.
