David Jay Flood Architect assisted Loyola Marymount University in developing an interim program for their existing campus, which included a quality athletic facility sufficient to support eight NCAA Division One Athletic Programs coupled with the design of a new 80,000 square foot student, health and recreation facility. The athletic facility is important to the spirit and body of students, faculty, and staff. Student athletes have an opportunity to excel with a variety of sports fulfilling the Jesuit stated mission. The facility provides all participants the opportunity to excel in some form of team or intramural sport or excercise program.
