Second Phase Student Housing
Cal State Channel Islands

Camarillo CA

David Jay Flood Architect provided alternate master plan/site plan analyses for California State University Channel Islands’ second phase of student housing which included a review of the existing overall campus master plan to determine planning concepts for the continuation of the existing historic quad/courtyard pattern within the newly proposed and existing structures.
Partnering with the University’s user group committee, the initial program of 250 beds was increased to a 462 bed project. DJFA provided the architectural and engineering bridging documents for the design-build project completed within the University’s approved budget and completion time frame.
