Strawberry Canyon Aquatic Center
Berkeley CA

The Mission was to create a unique, unified and high-energy venue for Cal Aquatic Programs, including mens and womens swimming and water polo to be shared as an academic and recreation facility by students and faculty.
Strawberry Canyon replaces two existing facilities with state-of-the-art 50 meter X 25 yd. 7 ft. deep pool for use as a mens and womens swimming and water polo training facility and as a recreational facility for adult "learn to swim" programs. The upper 25 yd. square pool varies in depth from 18 inches to 5-6 ft. to accommodate younger "learn to swim" programs, water aerobics and lap pool.
